NEW STUDY SUGGESTS EARTH EXISTED 300 MILLION YEARS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED
NOVEMBER 1, 2015
Just recently, the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) combined a group of geochemists that unraveled the unknown history of our world. Having found evidence that Earth had already been inhabited by life 4,100 million years ago. This means that there was life on this planet 300 million years earlier than we had expected.

“We need to think differently about the early Earth.” - Elizabeth Bell, Investigator from UCLA
This new study proclaims that life existed before the mass onslaught of the inner solar system that took place about 3,900 million years ago when a menagerie of intergalactic objects would crash into the very moon and earth themselves.
“Twenty years ago, this would have been heretical; finding evidence of life 3.8 billion years ago was shocking. Life on Earth may have started almost instantaneously. With the right ingredients, life seems to form very quickly.” -Mark Harrison, co-author of the research found as well as the professor of geochemistry at UCLA.
