Congress putting the brakes on Obama

Congress putting the brakes on Obama
by  Robert Naiman, Common Dreams    …with  Press TV

[Editors Note: Dear all, now is the time to grab your telephone pitch forks and get those calls in to the White house, your Congressman  and both Senators. Give them congrats or spanking accordingly. They need to be shocked when they get back after Labor Day if they don't get called back anyway. A debate will give us more time to find more holes in their bogus gassing scam and expose them enough to demand an investigation now for treason for 'someone' attempting to launch the country into a military endeavor where their is not threat...Jim W. Dean]

By my count, at least 162 Members of the House of Representatives, including 64 Democrats, have done at least one of the following things in the last few days:

1) signed a letter initiated by California Democrat Barbara Lee saying that there must be Congressional debate and vote before war with Syria;

2) signed a letter initiated by Virginia Republican Scott Rigell saying that there must be Congressional debate and vote before war with Syria

3) issued a statement calling for a Congressional debate and vote before war with Syria. I don’t claim that this count is exhaustive. If you know of other examples, please share them in the comments.

By my count, at least 64 Democrats in the House have done at least one of these three things. Add this to the 98 Republicans who signed the Rigell letter and you get 162.

These are the 54 Democratic signers of the Lee letter, according to Lee’s office:
Barbara Lee, Mike Honda, Lois Capps, Zoe Lofgren, John Lewis, Jackie Speier, Ra?l Grijalva, Robin Kelly, Beto O’Rourke, Michael H. Michaud, Mark Pocan, Peter A. DeFazio, Peter Welch, Chellie Pingree, Nydia M. Vel?zquez, Sam Farr, Stephen F. Lynch, Lloyd Doggett, Janice Hahn, Jared Huffman, Tulsi Gabbard, Emanuel Cleaver, Rush Holt, Jim McDermott, Sheila Jackson Lee, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Suzanne Bonamici, José E. Serrano, George Miller, Donna F. Edwards, Robert C. “Bobby” Scott, Steve Cohen, Marcy Kaptur, Danny K. Davis, Alcee L. Hastings, James P. McGovern, Judy Chu, Marcia L. Fudge, Alan S. Lowenthal, Charles B. Rangel, Bobby L. Rush, Carolyn B. Maloney, Janice Schakowsky, Donna M. Christensen, David Loebsack, Richard M. Nolan, Henry A. Waxman, Diana DeGette, Yvette D. Clarke, Keith Ellison, Niki Tsongas, Eleanor Holmes Norton, John A. Yarmuth, Julia Brownley.

These are the 18 Democratic signers among the 116 signers of the Rigell letter, as noted by The Hill: Zoe Lofgren, Rush Holt, Beto O’Rourke, Peter DeFazio, Kurt Schrader, William Enyart, Tim Walz, Sam Farr, Bruce Braley, Jim McDermott, Michael Capuano, Anna Eshoo, Earl Blumenauer, Peter Welch, Rick Nolan, David Loebsack, Jim Matheson, Collin Peterson.

Sixty-three Democrats signed at least one of the two letters.  In addition, New York Democrat Jerry Nadler put out a statement saying that there must be a debate and vote.

Why does this matter? It matters because if President Obama were to strike Syria without Congressional authorization, he would violate the Constitution and the War Powers Resolution.
But it also matters because debate surfaces key information. Earlier this week, press was reporting that the U.S. bombing of Syria could start as early as Thursday. By Thursday, here had been no bombing.
Is the Navy being misused? Have rogue elements
penetrated us again to supply false Intel?

Instead, on Thursday, AP reported that “the intelligence linking Syrian President Bashar Assad or his inner circle to an alleged chemical weapons attack that killed at least 100 people is no ‘slam dunk,’” and that this “uncertainty calls into question the statements by Kerry and Vice President Joe Biden”.

So while Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that links between the attack and the Assad government are “undeniable,” U.S. intelligence officials are not so certain that the suspected chemical attack was carried out on Assad’s orders, or even completely sure it was carried out by government forces, the officials said.

Ideally, the White House seeks intelligence that links the attack directly to Assad or someone in his inner circle to rule out the possibility that a rogue element of the military decided to use chemical weapons without Assad’s authorization.

Another possibility that officials would hope to rule out: that stocks had fallen out of the government’s control and were deployed by rebels in a callous and calculated attempt to draw the West into the war.

Kerry had said: “We know that the Syrian regime maintains custody of these chemical weapons.”
By Thursday, we knew that what Kerry said on Monday was not true. He said “we know.” But, according the U.S. intelligence officials cited by AP, we don't know.

If the bombing had happened on Thursday, then the bombing would have happened before AP reported that what Kerry said on Monday was not true.

Can people still say with a straight face that Congress shouldn't debate and vote before the President attacks Syria, or that it doesn't matter if they do?

If you think Congress should debate and vote before any war with Syria, you can join 25,000 people at in telling Congress.

Russia Restructures Cyprus Debt; Cyprus Prohibits US Strikes On Syria

Tyler Durden's picture

Yesterday afternoon, Russia agreed to restructure Cyprus' EUR 2.5 billion loan terms to a much more affordable 2.5% semi-annual coupon through 2016 and a principal re-payment over the following four years. While probably still out of reach for the desparate economy, it was a positive step. Of course, this 'offer' by Russia has its quid pro quo. This morning, Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides has stated that Cyprus territory will not be used to launch military strikes against Syria, as "Cyprus wants to live up to its responsibility as a shelter if needed for nationals of friendly countries who evacuate from Middle East". It would appear Obama's influence is fading everywhere...

Pope Francis names Pietro Parolin as secretary of state

Pope Francis names Pietro Parolin as secretary of state

Pope Francis has named a new secretary of state, in what is seen as his most significant appointment since he became leader of the Catholic Church in March.

Archbishop Pietro Parolin, a 58-year-old Vatican diplomat, replaced Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, 79, who is retiring.

Cardinal Bertone, appointed by Francis' predecessor Pope Benedict, had been widely criticised over last year's so-called "Vatileaks" scandals.

Leaked documents revealed corruption and infighting at the Vatican.

The secretary of state heads the Roman Curia, the central administration of the Catholic Church, and is the Pope's chief adviser.

There has been a lack of co-ordination within the various dicasteries or administrative sections which form the Roman Curia or central government of the Roman Catholic Church during the past two decades.

The late Pope John Paul II was in poor health for almost a decade before his death in 2005 and left many decisions to his aides. His successor Pope Benedict has not been seen as a successful administrator.

Pope Francis has already set in motion the reform of the Vatican Bank which has allegedly been turning a blind eye to money-laundering by some of its clients.

But the appointment of his new secretary of state is by the most important single administrative act carried out by the new Pope since his election last March.

Pope reforms hit corridors of power

Archbishop Parolin, an Italian, is currently the Vatican's nuncio - or ambassador - in Venezuela.

In a statement, he said he would give the Pope his "completely availability to work with him and under his guidance for the greater glory of God, the good of the holy Church and the progress and peace".

The BBC's David Willey in Rome says his appointment marks the beginning of the replacement or dismissal of several former key members of Benedict's administrative team.

Pope Francis has also promised to stamp out abuses at the Vatican bank - officially known as the Institute for Religious Works.

Shortly after his appointment, he set up a commission to investigate the bank and report back to him personally.

He later issued a decree to combat money-laundering.

The Vatileaks scandals erupted in 2012, when former Pope Benedict's butler, Paolo Gabriele, published confidential documents from Vatican offices alleging widespread corruption and mismanagement.

Gabriele was convicted and sentenced to 18 months in jail for stealing the papers, but he was subsequently pardoned by Benedict.

Everyday Oneness

It’s like watching an image, once pixelated, come together.  There is evidence in the everyday.

When the channellers emerged en masse two years ago, the message was clear.  Inhaling the enlightened fumes, arrogance emerged.  We were played brilliantly.  Misfits all of our lives, it was like giving us crack – we ate it up.  We were the Chosen Ones, the Special Ones, the Enlightened Ones, here to finally claim our untold worth.  Long life, prosperity, joy and beauty – this is where we belong.

The separation which had been only slightly obvious to us, clarified.  It was us who had the answers.  It was our job to enlighten those who didn’t know.  They were the many, we were the few.

As Oneness creeps quietly in, what surprises is what it looks like in the everyday.  It looks like friendships renewed with those previously neglected because they didn’t “get it”.  Everyone’s included.  It looks like saying yes.  Everything has merit now, the “no’s” come too, and with them the understanding that “no” is not rejection.  It is a matter of preference.

I choose what serves me and that benefits the whole.  I do what I like.  You do the same.  It’s all good.

There is an acceptance.  Ways to be, dress, eat, dance, sing, love and play are not good or bad – they are choices.  Love trumps everything.  Relationships take effort.  It’s about intent.  It’s about choice.

There’s an addiction to something we’ll have to face.  We are looking to fly.  This addiction holds us to the ground.  It’s about control.  It’s about trust.  It’s about letting someone in, leaving the door open.  Wide open.

The specifics for each of us differ, beneath them we are One.  What holds us back is fear.

You see, we are the Chosen Ones, the Special Ones, the Enlightened Ones, here to finally claim our untold worth. Every single One of us.

There is nothing you need now – you are perfection; ready to fly.  The only thing left to do is believe.  With every thought, know that you are Gods.  When you wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, walk out the door – believe.  Believe in your power.  Know who you are.  Stop hiding.  You are God.

As things come up, and the pixelation returns, look right at it.  Stand your ground.  This thing, this thing bringing up the illusion, is not bigger, better, more beautiful, stronger, smarter or richer than you.  It is you.  It’s all you.  Just love it and absorb it into the life force that you are.

We are the best and the worst of us, the oldest and the youngest, the cruelest and the most sainted, the horrific and the breathtaking.  We are One, here to join together.  We’ll have to come out of our cage to do so, step off our cliff, let someone in, give something up, release the wheel.

Our power is in Unity.  We have trusted and been lied to and hold onto that fact as a shield.  We crafted, told and believed that lie, hence its brilliance.  Put down your shield.  It was you who lied, you who believed and you who know the truth.  Remember.  It is time.  We did this on purpose.  The bravest, strongest, softest, gentlest, most intense and stimulating beings are us.

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

Gilad Atzmon:President Obama is ‘confused’
about possible attack on Syria

ZEROHEDGE: US Finally Admits What Ron Paul Said: "Nobody Knows Who Set Off The Gas"

US Finally Admits What Ron Paul Said: "Nobody Knows Who Set Off The Gas"
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 08/29/2013 12:39 -0400

The AP reports that US intelligence officials are admitting that linking Syrian President Bashar Assad or his inner circle to an alleged chemical weapons attack is no "slam dunk," as opposed to Obama (and Kerry) who are 'unequivocal' of the fact.

Via AP,

The intelligence linking Syrian President Bashar Assad or his inner circle to an alleged chemical weapons attack is no "slam dunk," with questions remaining about who actually controls some of Syria's chemical weapons stores and doubts about whether Assad himself ordered the strike, U.S. intelligence officials say.

an intercept of Syrian military officials discussing the strike was among low-level staff, with no direct evidence tying the attack back to an Assad insider or even a senior Syrian commander, the officials said.

So while Secretary of State John Kerry said Monday that links between the attack and the Assad government are "undeniable," U.S. intelligence officials are not so certain that the suspected chemical attack was carried out on Assad's orders, or even completely sure it was carried out by government forces, the officials said.

Perhaps more concerning...

Another possibility that officials would hope to rule out: that stocks had fallen out of the government's control and were deployed by rebels in a callous and calculated attempt to draw the West into the war.

"The danger of escalation with Russia is very high," Ron Paul warns in this brief Fox News interview. After casting doubts on the government's 'knowledge' and reasoning in the region, Paul gets straight to the point. Simply put, he notes, despite the ongoing headlines of 'proof' and 'dreadful videos', Paul states "We're not positive who set off the gas," and indeed - who is set to benefit most from any Assad-regime-smackdown? Al-Qaeda.

"Assad is not an idiot," Paul adds, "it's unlikely he would do this on purpose... look how many lies were told to us about Saddam Hussein prior to that build-up." A lot of uncomrtable truths in this brief clip for an administration that has crossed its own red line (as we noted here) on actions against Syria now... "I think it's a false flag..." Paul adds, there is a big risk that "we are getting sucked in" and the American people are against this war.

Facebook friends could change your credit score

Project XIII can't come soon enough!  Enough of this data harvesting! -Bill

Facebook friends could change your credit score
By Katie Lobosco  @KatieLobosco August 27, 2013: 11:24 AM ET

Some tech startups are using your online social data to determine your creditworthiness.

Choose your Facebook friends wisely; they could help you get approved -- or rejected -- for a loan.
A handful of tech startups are using social data to determine the risk of lending to people who have a difficult time accessing credit. Traditional lenders rely heavily on credit scores like FICO, which look at payments history. They typically steer clear of the millions of people who don't have credit scores.

But some financial lending companies have found that social connections can be a good indicator of a person's creditworthiness.

One such company, Lenddo, determines if you're friends on Facebook (FB) with someone who was late paying back a loan to Lenddo. If so, that's bad news for you. It's even worse news if the delinquent friend is someone you frequently interact with.

"It turns out humans are really good at knowing who is trustworthy and reliable in their community," said Jeff Stewart, a co-founder and CEO of Lenddo. "What's new is that we're now able to measure through massive computing power."

Related story: Millions without credit scores not so risky after all

A German company called Kreditech says that it uses up to 8,000 data points when assessing an application for a loan.

In addition to data from Facebook, eBay or Amazon (AMZN, Fortune 500) accounts. Kreditech also gathers information from the manner in which a customer fills out the online application. For example, your chances of getting a loan improve if you spend time reading information about the loan on Kreditech's website. If you fill out the application typing in all-caps (or with no caps), you're knocked down a couple pegs in Kreditech's eyes.

On August 21, 2012 President Obama unfortunately gave his redline for Syria which everyone seems to be taking advantage. Whether Obama is likely to back down from a Syrian confrontation, especially with the Republic hawks advocating remains to be seen...
"We cannot have a situation where chemical or biological weapons are falling into the hands of the wrong people," Obama told reporters at the White House. "We have been very clear to the Assad regime -- but also to other players on the ground -- that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized.

"That would change my calculus; that would change my equation."Obama added that U.S. officials are monitoring the situation "very carefully" and have put together a number of contingency plans.

Saudi support for Syrian rebels shaped by tribal, religious ties"We have communicated in no uncertain terms with every player in the region that that's a red line for us and that there would be enormous consequences if we start seeing movement on the chemical weapons front or the use of chemical weapons."

Obama's remarks appeared to ratchet up his stance on the matter."
I was sent an archive of documents yesterday from two separate sources that originated in January 2013 hack of a Malaysian server by a hacker who goes by the pseudonym of JAsIrx.  Inside the archive is an interesting internal email from the British military contracting company Britam.  Its not a new find, its been floating in the Internet for some time now, and probably not coincidental I get it from two apparently unconnected sources on the same day. Notice the date on the email, December 24, 2012...just four months after Obama committed to going to war in Syria over chemical weapons.

‘Largest hack’ in Chinese history has Beijing stumped

‘Largest hack’ in Chinese history has Beijing stumped
A massive section of the Chinese Internet was knocked out Sunday in what authorities are calling the “largest hack in China’s history.” The attack has security experts at a loss and unable to determine the origins of the cyber-assault.

The China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) reported the outages Sunday. The government institution said they were the result of twin denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks occurring in close succession, starting at 2:00am local time (6:00pm GMT). The second attack was "long-lasting and large-scale," Chinese state media reported.

The CNNIC apologized to Internet users throughout the country and is still speculating over the possible causes.

DoD training manual suggests Founding Fathers followed 'extremist ideology'

DoD training manual suggests Founding Fathers followed 'extremist ideology'

A Department of Defense training manual obtained by a conservative watchdog group pointed to the original American colonists as examples of an extremist movement, comments that have sparked fear of a broader crackdown on dissent in America.

The training manual provides information that describes, among other things, “common themes in extremist ideologies."

Now, if the Department of Defense has its way, historical figures who risked their lives to free America from British colonial rule – names like Paul Revere, Thomas Paine, Benjamin Franklin and Samuel Adams – will be rebranded as dangerous extremists, alongside the likes of skinheads and neo-Nazis.

The first paragraph of the section entitled ‘Extremist Ideologies’ opens with a statement that has drawn heated criticism: “In US history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples.”

In America’s early colonial period, many colonists served in state militias under the direction of the Continental Army in an effort to free the Thirteen Colonies from British rule. Indeed, the Second Amendment of the US Constitution clearly states: “A well-regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

The Real False Flag?

Got a call from a contact with a past in the military.  He was quite upset about the situation in Syria. I have never heard him so upset before. He said "the false flag isn't the poison gas attacks, its the 4 unescorted Navy destroyers sitting offshore that are easy pickings for Syria's Russian-built anti-ship missiles that fly at mach 7 for which we have no defense...".  There are no US Navy Carrier groups in the mediterranean right now.

He also said "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has offered Putin a sweet oil deal in OPEC if they don't come to Syria's aid".  This also cuts the USA out of its current role in the middle east with OPEC.

Its not a well kept secret that KSA and Qatar have been financing the rebels in Syria, both countries want to build a natural gas pipeline through Syria to Turkey so that they can ship natural gas via pipeline to Europe.  Some reports have said Putin has sided with Syria in the past because he didn't want Russia's lucrative near monopoly status on natural gas exports to Europe to end.

The contact is not a believer that Galactics will intervene in the case of any missile firing.  Let's hope he's wrong on that if this scenario plays out.

Personally I think the energetics of Earth no longer favor these kind of moves and will backfire badly if carried out to their conclusion.  Perhaps this is one of those watershed moments that exposes the banker financed wars for what they are, schemes to stay in control.

"You Are Being Deceived"

For all of you awesome people out there who have spent hours and hours, if not days and days and weeks and week, trying to explain to your family and friends and co-workers that their entire perception of "Government", "Finance" and "the authority"  has been built on lies and deception of the highest order.... this pdf below is for you.

While it might not have every single aspect of the corruption of power on this planet laid out completely, it comes pretty damn close to being the best, most succinct run down of the basics that I have read in a long long time.  The author doesn't get into the nitty gritty of the 13th amendment, or what really happened to Noriega and Marcos, or all the details of 9/11... but he covers everything needed to get the point across:

You Are Being Deceived

I have uploaded the 15th Chapter - "You are Being Deceived"- of the Practical Guide to Free Energy Devices to Scribd for ease of reading (below), but the entire book is beyond brilliant and worthy of hours and hours of study and research and can be read or downloaded HERE

Please share this link to the online pdf version of this chapter everywhere.  Post it to you facebook wall, email it out, put it up on chat rooms and skype rooms.  If you really want to help people SEE the deception, then this chapter/article is an excellent first step.

The Real Risk at JPMorgan Isn’t Its Legal Mess

Thanks to Les! -Bill
The Real Risk at JPMorgan Isn’t Its Legal Mess
By SUZANNE MCGEE, The Fiscal Times
August 20, 2013
Remember that scene in Casablanca when Claude Rains, playing Captain Renault in the World War II-era city of the title, closing down Rick’s casino with the immortal words, “I’m shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here,” even as he gratefully pockets his own winnings?

Well, welcome to the Wall Street circa 2013. JPMorgan Chase (NYSE: JPM) seems to be mired in a perfect regulatory storm, with some of its European traders facing criminal charges in connection with the London Whale losses, its commodities operations still faced with uncertainty as its aluminum warehouse storage “scandal” continues, and now the “revelation” that the bank hired the children of top Chinese officials in hopes that this would help it win more business. (It may even have worked – surprise, surprise. Odds are, though, that the nepotism scandal will prove to be a non-starter on the regulatory front: Once that can of worms is opened, it’s hard to imagine where it will ever end.)

In all, The Wall Street Journal notes, the bank faces as least seven investigations by various regulators. Yet while the bank says its legal woes might – in the worst case scenario – add $6.8 billion in losses above its existing reserves, this isn’t in and of itself a reason to flee the stock.
Set those possible losses against the bank’s earnings performance, its valuation (only 8.6 times trailing earnings), its lavish 2.93 percent dividend yield (almost enough to put it into the Dogs of the Dow category). Then factor in that short positions by traders hoping to profit from a fall in the bank’s share price have declined by nearly 5 percent lately, and still account for only about 1 percent of all shares outstanding, and you have a recipe for a rapid rebound.

What will trigger that? Who knows. But the odds certainly favor it, once the headline risks abate.

The one real risk here? The bank doesn’t just need to persuade investors that it takes compliance and risk management seriously, but to really, truly take compliance and risk management seriously.

In his letter to shareholders earlier this year, CEO Jamie Dimon wrote that the bank “must and will do a better job at compliance.”

“Let me be perfectly clear,” Dimon wrote. “These problems were our fault, and it is our job to fix them. In fact, I feel terrible that we let our regulators down. We are devoted to ensuring that our systems, practices, controls, technology and, above all, culture meet the highest standards. We want to be considered one of the best banks – across all measures – by our shareholders, our customers and our regulators.”

Any further revelations of questionable losses or trading activity and the context in which investors view JPMorgan Chase will turn much darker – and rightfully so. Once is a bad error of judgment; twice is unforgivable.

But most of the risks that we know the bank will face – rising interest rates, a decline in mortgage refinancing, the need to satisfy regulators on both capital plans and an emergency liquidation strategy – are common to all banks. What all banks don’t share is JPMorgan Chase’s dominant market position and the intense focus of its management team.

If you want to stay away from this stock, do so because it is mismanaging its business, failing to maximize returns or dropping the ball on risk management – not because of headlines about litigation. Unless JPMorgan Chase has been manipulating global markets on a massive scale (of the kind I’ve only encountered in crime fiction), then the ongoing litigation might leave a slight but not lasting tarnish on its name that time will rapidly remove.

Deutsche Boerse says Eurex trading again after outage

FRANKFURT | Mon Aug 26, 2013 10:43am BST

(Reuters) - Exchange operator Deutsche Boerse  said trading on its derivatives platform Eurex had been halted for over an hour on Monday, without giving an immediate explanation for the failure.

Deutsche Boerse said in a statement on its website that trading resumed at 0922 Central European Time, with a company spokesman declining to comment further.

The market impact of the trading glitch appeared to have been limited. A public holiday in London meant most traders in Europe's largest equity market were not at their desks, and trading volumes remained well below their daily average.

Global markets have faced technological glitches recently. Last week the Nasdaq (NDAQ.O) stock exchange halted trading for three hours citing a "connectivity issue".

Earlier this year, the Chicago Board Options Exchange delayed the start of trading there for half a day.

Deutsche Boerse last week said its cash and derivatives markets were available for 99.99 percent of the time in 2012.

You Inner Bad Ass

Embrace your inner bad ass. Forget the inner child.  That was when you needed taking care of.  You can take care of yourself.  Twenty or seventy, your age has nothing to do with this.  Midwife or firefighter, your occupation doesn’t matter.  This is about that fearless you that sings in the shower, grins at strangers and does whatever the hell she wants, anything he wants.

You are needed.  Those that have been in control until now don’t know how to say goodbye.

They need you to help them.  It is way past over.

Bees have shown me the way.  Several weeks ago our son discovered a parade of them burrowing along the perimeter of the garage.  Turns out they’ve been there for much longer than we realized.  A huge hive was under the door, destroying property and growing.

First, we energetically/psychically messaged them, asking them to move on.  No response.  Then we hired a “green” exterminator to gently encourage their departure.  He returned three times and they did not budge.

As a last resort we plugged up every entrance to the hive with cement.  It was an epic battle in the final stages.  There were casualties on both sides.  DH was stung once; the house was splattered with cement as he bravely waved his spatula at them, sealing off their last entrance.  A few bees were squashed.

That was a week ago.  Today we have a newly patched and paved driveway.  In our backyard those same bees have re-built a hive.  We are okay with this location and they are content, busily going about their business.  Everyone won.  DH did what had to be done.  Somebody had to.

What’s running through your veins right now is YOU.  This power is ready to be used.  It’s humming with anticipation.  Our fellow creators, (the ones who don’t know how to say goodbye), will only go when there are no other options.

This relationship will end when we activate what has been our truth all along.  As D (from Removing the Shackles) put it: “Fuck Off!  I AM a Beacon of Light!”

We cannot sit silently by. Not if we want to get to the next part.

You’ll have to do what has to be done.  There are no controllers on a bad ass planet.  When all is said and done, the question will come – “Who made the deciding move?  Did they stop or did we seal up all their access points?”

We may never know.  We humans like things seamless, with a happy ending.  It won’t really matter anyway.  What matters is the experiment is over and we did it.  We stepped up to the plate and took a swing, with that uniquely bad ass style of ours.  We did not disappoint.

We were the Ones we were waiting for.

MANILA, Philippines–Since the controversy surrounding the alleged P10-billion pork barrel scam broke out, there has been a torrent of articles and photos that have linked the now fugitive Janet Lim-Napoles to several legislators. Most of the articles—which first came out in the Philippine Daily Inquirer—allege that Napoles put up a number of non-government organizations or NGOs that accept financial allocations from certain legislators’ Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) for projects. The NGOs turned out to be fake, with Napoles and the legislators themselves said to have pocketed the money.

Napoles’ daughter Jeane has figured in micro-blogs and even an Instagram account documenting her high and lavish lifestyle in captioned photos (showing trips to Europe, her outfits-of-the-day, and even a Porsche as a surprise graduation gift from her folks), making her the poster girl of this alleged scam.

With each exposé, thousands of people have vented their anger through social media. Everyone’s timeline would show a link, an acerbic status post, and some excerpts from the recent Commission on Audit (COA) report on the PDAF allocations. Just like the steady wave of stories on Napoles, other angles have been coming to light. All of them, however, remain allegations.

Many of us got tagged onto a status post, an invite to “go to Luneta on August 26, National Heroes Day, to show our protest” against the pork barrel system. A Facebook page on this “million people march” has been put up to tell the people in power that we’ve had enough—the common sentiment being a call to “get to the bottom of this scam, probe, charge, prosecute whoever is involved, and eventually abolish the PDAF.”

Since there was no recognizable group making “the call”—the usual noisy suspects have been silent—people started asking and doubting the agenda of the gathering. “Who’s organizing this?” echoed through Twitter and Facebook. Many were afraid that it was a set-up. A lot were wary of being associated with this or that collective from the broad spectrum of Philippine political leanings.

Last night, I was having a highly charged discussion during a meal with friends when a lady in red showed up, identifying herself as Peachy Rallonza-Bretaña (apparently we have a common friend). According to Peachy, she was the one who first re-posted the call to go to Luneta by Ito Rapadas, former lead singer of the band Neocolors and now a record producer.

Peachy added that she was also the first to post “the call to action” and was likewise the one who put the time and place of the gathering—which spread on Facebook via tags and links.

As a result, Bernardo Bernardo and Monet Silvestre (a stage actor and a musician, respectively) reposted a suggestion to put up a Facebook page with a California-based Filipino-American TV show called “Power ng Pinoy.”

Peachy said she was tagged as a “host” on the event page, made administrator, and identified as being the spearhead of this Aug. 26 protest.

So, I asked her, “Well, are you the organizer? There have been questions, you see. Is there a program? A permit? What can we expect? Who will be beside me if I go?”

She looked a little beat, and a lot overwhelmed, so I stopped to let her speak.

I learned that Peachy has no affiliation with any political group or movement. She did not look sinister—in fact, she was quite reserved. I didn’t see an agenda-filled demagogue. All I saw was a taxpayer who is very upset at what is happening. She is angry and is just inviting people to gather, essentially asking them if they are angry, too.

“Luneta is a public space,” she said. “This is just an invitation on Aug.  26, National Heroes Day, to go to Luneta, and stake their claim on a little piece of our national historic park.”

The broad idea of the gathering is this: probe and prosecute those who are found guilty of scamming taxpayers’ money through the P10 billion pork barrel scam. I imagine many people will go for many other reasons. Some will call for the abolition of the PDAF all together. Perhaps, further down the road, some groups will be pushing for a Freedom of Information Act, which would act as a deterrent against these shady deals.

I suppose, since it appears that there is really no single individual or group organizer behind this—save for this cropped haired, now-nervous lady in red—then you must go for your own reasons. If you decide to go, then you organize yourself to go. This may sound naive, weak even to the more seasoned street protesters, but it is certainly a voice that is growing and cannot be ignored, not by those in power and certainly not by anyone who sincerely wants a better way of doing things.

Go if you want to. For as long as you have sound reasons for deciding, well and good. The important thing is that you made a decision.

The ZAP Report 8-25-2013

Zap's take on the RV below... -Bill

Greetings and Salutations,

Time to wake up! Many of you may have taken a nap the last few weeks as it appeared that nothing very interesting was traveling through the grapevine. At least that we could hear or see. Well, how about the NASDAQ shutdown last week which bleed over into the NYSE and many other global exchanges. I'm sure there will be an investigation to find out what happened. But will the public really "know the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" In time maybe they will. However, you are about to find out the real truth from, ZAP and friends, about the NASDAQ shutdown and the chronology of events leading up to present day.

Remember the Global Currency Reset, GCR, which is now underway is the culmination of many talented people from across the globe working around the clock for 20+ years to bring us to where we are today! So stop all of the grumbling and complaining and thank your lucky stars that they are finally ready to launch the planet into a new era of prosperity and that we are alive and well enough to be participating in this once in a 1000 years event! WOW!!!!

From ZAP..........Hi All

This is it. No more dress rehearsal. Expo is over…..

In respect of the Dinar RV…we are good to go.

In respect of the global reset…we are good to go.

One of the not-so-surprising hold-outs was wells fargo. Go figure that the settlement bank got greedy. Really shocking right?

Just like Obama finally striking a deal with the Chinese over the tax he was going to charge. He got his way. He is going to tax at 50%.

But regardless of the machinations, we are at the point where all will happen now. Hopefully before September 1 (the goal).

The FOREX system and the other back line systems are all in place. the shutting down of the exchanges was to install and test the systems we are going to be using in the future. No surprise there, and it was expected.

Eggplants, Vampires and Us

It’s not writers block.  It’s identity crisis.  “Who are you?” has been the perpetual question this week.  It is sort of like being a vampire.  I am surrounded by mirrors that offer no reflection.  People and problems used to keep popping up like springing targets in an arcade game, needing removal.  They were handy excuses, blames and faults for what was wrong.  With me.  Each health crisis, relationship breakdown or financial hardship had different non-me pop up culprits.  They’ve vanished.  There is only me.

This comes as a surprise.  We are sort of like eggplants.  These tiny lavender blooms stretch out, completely invert themselves and emerge again as something completely different; fuller, richer and with more depth to their skin.  They have become what they always intended to be; eggplants.  Now this is not a surprise to anyone but them.  With space, nourishment and encouragement they came out exactly as predicted and expected – bigger, just as beautiful and now useful.

We’ve stretched, pulled in and are gradually emerging – as gorgeous, immensely powerful beings of light.  Until now, the mirror showed us ridicule and hatred, self-defeat, corruption and lies, lack, imperfection, opposition and grief.  We accepted the images, identifying completely with each manipulation.  Today we’ve reached within and touched the face of God.  We are not any of those things.  We are love in human form.

It does not serve us to focus on evil.  Negativity’s only purpose is to spark creation of the opposite vibration.  This is a game and we now know the rules.  We are just figuring out what kind of player we came to be.

You see, it doesn’t matter who you saw in the mirror yesterday, what matters is today.  Your mirrors are empty.  Who are you?  What kind of game did you come to play?  In every new moment, you are standing alone, without excuses and ready to engage.  What will you do and how will you do it?  Who are you?

Let go of the past.  You are not what you were, you are now.  In this moment the future is determined.  What will you make?

Doors have to close, chapters end and credits roll before the new can commence. We are writing the script here and the final act is upon us.  Know that there are those still attempting to sabotage a graceful transition.  They have engaged alarmists and fear mongers because they don’t realize we are onto their tactics and playing our own game now.  Our strategy doesn’t require weapons or marches even, but conviction.  Our method springs from the ultimate power source – our heart.

Produce peace.  It is called upon you to do so.  Refuse all but love.  See only the deepest truth in each soul and you will discover we all seek the same thing; the expression of eternity in physical form – life.  We are hear to express and realize our deepest knowing – Agape.

Truth has no room for fear.  As history ends, begins again and is written you’ll decide who you are.  We’ve come to the moment of our self-definition.  What you say and believe is your reality.  What world are you choosing?

Choose love.  Produce peace.  Live abundantly.  Laugh.  Your best parts are exuberant, honest, transparent, compassionate and here.

This is it.  Like the eggplant, you are emerging new, as we knew you would.  This relentless push for transformation demands your participation.  You cannot avoid this next part; you are the one who will decide what it looks like.

Embrace your future without hesitation.  At some point you’ll remember this moment without regret.  A game played well demands honesty as well as an exploitation of the best in you.  You were chosen to make all the difference and you do.  Show us everything you have.

You are the one we’ve been waiting for.
